Dr Leila Battison

Carl Sagan (probably) once said: "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known". Join us and discover something incredible about our world. I am a scientist, a writer, and a creator with a passion for discovering the stories behind our world. I got my degree in Earth Sciences in 2008, and followed up with a PhD in Palaeontology and Astrobiology, and a short spell at NASA. But my great love is for sharing knowledge, and I now work full time making fascinating factual content for broadcast TV and digital platforms, including this channel!
