The Interview Room

Welcome to The Interview Room® — True Crime Through the Eyes of a Detective & Investigative Journalist. Hosted by Chris McDonough, homicide detective, and Karen McDonough, award-winning former Los Angeles Times investigative journalist, we take you beyond the headlines and inside real criminal investigations. We cover true crime, breaking crime news, homicide investigations, missing persons, cold cases, unsolved mysteries, criminal behavior, interview & interrogation analysis, forensic evidence, criminal psychology, courtroom developments, and investigative journalism. Together, we examine evidence, timelines, witness statements, investigative decisions, and unanswered questions from two distinct perspectives: THE DETECTIVE & THE JOURNALIST. Our mission is to follow the evidence, separate fact from speculation, ask the difficult questions, and give victims a voice. Because behind every case is a victim, a family, and a search for answers. 🔔 SUBSCRIBE and TAKE A SEAT.™
